Elaine is the founder of Priority, and she believes we can all build a better future, together.
She started the company in 1996 and built its expertise in technology, lifestyle-luxury brands, and corporate communication, core practices that still anchor the consultancy today.
Elaine specialises in reputation management, corporate communication, and strategic counselling. With a 28-year career in communication, she has a wealth of consulting experience across multiple industries, and she has deep expertise in the technology, consumer electronics, healthcare, financial and professional services sectors.
Elaine is Vice Chair, Asia Pacific Region for PROI Worldwide the world’s largest global partnership of independent communication agencies, and was the former Vice President of Public Relations & Communications Association of Malaysia. She serves on the Management Committee of the Malaysian Mental Health Association and is an active member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization Malaysia.
She thrives on cultivating potential, and invests a significant among of her time mentoring and coaching young entrepreneurs and business executives, and hopes to see everyone move from success to significance in their journey of life.
Elaine spent several years as Senior Consultant at a local PR consultancy before establishing Priority. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA.

Karen is the General Manager of Priority. As GM, she manages core functions of the agency including business development, client strategy and servicing across all practice groups. She oversees all client accounts and works closely with the senior leadership to develop and manage results-driven activities for our clients.
Karen has been with the agency for more than 20 years. Prior to her appointment as GM, Karen was the lifestyle, retail and consumer director of Priority, overseeing the consumer and corporate portfolios, specialising in developing narratives across stakeholders, and managing and running fully integrated communication programmes and campaigns.
Before joining Priority, Karen worked in the advertising and media industries as a servicing consultant, copywriter and journalist respectively. She began her career at Malaysia’s first private local terrestrial broadcast station as its assistant news producer before moving into journalism, where she wrote for a leading business magazine. During her tenure at the advertising agency, she attended and worked on clients from various industries including FMCG, healthcare and property.
Karen is a master-chef at heart, and is passionate about helping the underprivileged whether it is through cooking for the Street Ministry or volunteering for community work through the Church.
Karen has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, with majors in Economics and Communication & Media studies and is also an alumni of the BFM Business School, a world class business education programme in Malaysia.

Ash anchors the teams that are responsible for the Technology, Healthcare and Corporate Practices at Priority. He manages key accounts within the practice, provides strategic counsel and ensures a high level of operational efficiency and quality.
Ash has significant experience developing and implementing communication strategies and working with multi-stakeholders such as United Nations entities, government agencies, private sector companies and civil society organisations. His past experiences include being the editor of Malaysia’s first web-based business information service, and a contributor to one of the country’s leading English newspapers.
Ash received his Bachelor of Laws - LLB from the University of Wolverhampton, UK. A lifelong fan of Tottenham Hotspur, he enjoys his weekend kickabouts and family outings, and is still on the hunt for the perfect cookie.

As a Senior Account Director, Livan leads the Consumer Technology practice at Priority. Her responsibilities include providing strategic counsel and overseeing client accounts and her experience includes managing successful campaigns for our clients across technology, healthcare, consumer electronics, property development, automotive and FMCG sectors. With nearly two decades of experience in PR and marketing communication, she guides her team in leading and formulating strategic communication plans and seeing to their smooth execution.
She spent seven years as a consultant an international PR agency based in Kuala Lumpur as a consultant before she joined Priority, and she continues to build strong rapport in client servicing and media relations.
During her spare time, Livan enjoys cooking and dabbling her hands in food art.

Mei Ling leads one of Priority’s Lifestyle practices. She has more than ten years of experience in the communication industry and is highly motivated in what she does. She finds joy in developing out-of-the-box proposals, strategizing communication plans for clients and planning events. With support from her capable team, she ensures that clients’ communication roadmaps are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Mei Ling has extensive experience in handling lifestyle, consumer and retail brands, having worked with well known fashion brands in her previous role in the Advertising & Promotions department of one of Malaysia’s leading retail organisation.
Mei Ling has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, majoring in Public Relations and Journalism, from Curtin University in Perth, Australia. A wanderlust at heart, Mei Ling finds joys in exploring her creative side.

Amelyn leads one of the Lifestyle practices in Priority. As a communication professional with over 10 years of experience in various industries including fashion, luxury, retail, tourism and skincare, Amelyn’s expertise lies in client servicing, communication strategy, media relations and she has extensive experience in corporate and marketing communication process and implementation.
Interestingly, she began her career as a tax consultant in one of the Big Four accounting firms. Throughout her tenure there, her portfolio included clients from a diverse range of industries from manufacturing, trading, investment holdings to joint ventures and financial institutions. Three years on, she made a bold decision to venture into the world of communication and found her new passion and calling in PR.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business (majoring in Accounting) from RMIT University, Australia. Outside of work, Amelyn embraces a holistic lifestyle and is an avid Reiki practitioner.

Kenny is a core member of the Technology and Corporate Practice at Priority. Armed with 15 years of experience in communication and journalism, Kenny specialises in client management, media relations and strategic planning. He currently leads his team, servicing some of the biggest brands in the consumer, enterprise technology and financial services industry.
He joined Priority on the back of his seven years as a senior editor with a large media group that specialised in publishing international magazines for the finance, payments and cards. As editor, he gained valuable experience, dealing with clients, thought leaders and industry experts from across the globe.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Information Technology from Charles Sturt University, Australia. He has deep passion in grooming the next generation of communication professionals to be the best they can be, doing what they love.

Calvin is a core team member of the Technology and Healthcare practice at Priority. He manages a team of proficient communication experts for a host of clients across technology and healthcare industries, specialising in thought leadership, strategic content and media relations. These include successful launches of novel/first in class pharmaceutical solutions in Malaysia as well as a wide range of communication tactics for consumer and enterprise technology brands.
With a background in engineering, Calvin took the path less travelled and started his career at a local manufacturing company for six years where he led marketing and social media initiatives, primarily for the company’s fledging start-up. Armed with a robust technical mindset and marketing expertise, he then joined Priority, and has brought tremendous value, knowledge and insight to the practice.
Calvin graduated with an Electrical and Computer Engineering Degree from the University of Iowa, USA. He has a keen interest in healthcare and is a lifelong Chelsea FC fan, and sometimes wonders why he never pursued a career in either.

Alvina is a core member of Priority’s Lifestyle practice. She is experienced in the field of PR and has worked for clients in the luxury lifestyle sector for more than seven years. On top of managing client accounts, she specialises in media relations, KOL management and social media. Alvina is a team player and actively leads the team to complete tasks, meet goals and manage client projects.
Prior to joining Priority, Alvina was with Maverick as an Account Executive. During her tenure there, she planned and led the execution of numerous major events and PR efforts in the FMCG industry.
Alvina is equipped with a Bachelor of Mass Communications from the University of Hertfordshire, UK. A beauty enthusiast and self-taught make-up artist, she enjoys exploring and channelling her creativity through the art of make-up.

Hani is an integral part of Priority’s Consumer Technology practice. She is an experienced consultant and writer who has worked with clients in consumer and enterprise technology, government agencies, and creative industries. Hani specialises in media relations, client servicing, research and analysis. She is passionate about providing genuine, practical support to her team and clients, ensuring the best solutions are provided and delivered.
Before joining Priority, Hani worked as a customer service consultant in the hospitality and financial services industry. With sound knowledge and experience in customer service, she employs her skills in effective communication and pays great attention to detail in every area of her work.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communication from Limkokwing University, Malaysia. She adores her feline family and enjoys watching and discussing films in her free time as she has a great passion for the visual-audio form of art.

Lizzie is a valuable member of Priority’s Lifestyle practice. An experienced writer, Lizzie’s role focuses on client servicing, media relations and strategic editorial work for clients in the fashion, luxury and retail industries. A self-proclaimed perfectionist, she pays great attention to detail and goes the extra mile to support the team and ensures the smooth execution of every campaign.
Before she joined Priority, Lizzie worked as a content creator for the publishing and e-commerce industries. Her experience includes an international posting in London attached with the editorial division of one of the world’s leading travel media companies, where her work was published in inflight titles across Europe and America. Lizzie then went onto leading the content team at Malaysia’s top online shopping platform where she also facilitated web content across the entire Southeast Asians region.
Lizzie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from University of Hertfordshire, UK. A maven of Korean culture, Lizzie holds a Korean Language Proficiency Certificate from Seoul National University Language Education Institute.

Trisher is a communication specialist with experience working in consumer, B2B technology and healthcare industries. With a strong passion in writing, event and project management, she works well under pressure to support her team and clients in social media content planning, KOL engagement management and media relations.
Before joining Priority, Trisher was in the PR and corporate communication division of an agency within the Ministry of Health, Malaysia, tasked to promote the healthcare travel industry of Malaysia. Among her many accomplishments, she led the execution of the inaugural Medical Travel Media Awards in 2019.
She has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Consumer Food Science and Marketing, from the University of Otago, New Zealand. Trisher enjoys food and creative writing, outside of work.

Kevin is a core team member of the Lifestyle practice of Priority. His responsibilities include providing support in client servicing, media relations and strategic content planning and execution. He specialises in fashion, luxury and retail. With a background in journalism and blogging, Kevin is a prolific writer who has provided invaluable content for clients, projects and editorial work.
Before joining the Priority family, Kevin was a journalist with the nation’s number one English daily, where he gained valuable, insightful experience and honed his writing skills.
He received his Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Linguistics from University of Malaya. Aside from being an aspiring storyteller, Kevin contributes his time in a book club that promotes reading among youths.

Jay is a valuable member of the Technology and Corporate arm of Priority. Steeped in knowledge in both technology and finance, Jay supports a variety of client accounts, focusing on corporate positioning and stakeholder engagement programmes.
Jay began his career as an administrator in an organisation managing global funds, where he was in charge of corporate account operations for investments at a major international Bank from Canada.
Jay graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business & Commerce from Monash University, Australia. Being a team player at heart, Jay serves to provide the best support to the team to achieve a unified goal.

Randall is a core member of Priority’s Technology and Corporate team. As an experienced communication strategist and writer, he has worked for clients across a multitude of industries including technology, pharmaceutical, and construction. Randall specialises in media relations and content writing. He is also a passionate team-player who believes that no obstacle is ever too big for a well-organized team to tackle and own.
Prior to joining Priority, Randall has experience as a contributing writer, graphic designer, and vocal talent and has worked with numerous international and local brands.
Randall has a Bachelor of Mass Communications from the University of Hertfordshire, UK and was formally trained as a journalist. As a pop culture geek and an ex-theater kid, he also has a heart-filled passion for storytelling and performance art in its various form and mediums.

Joey is the Accounts and Administrative Manager and has been with Priority for the last 23 years. Being one of our longest serving colleagues, Joey brings with her many years of administrative experience within the professional services and consulting business. She began her career as an Accounts Executive and steadily moved up the ranks. Today, she heads the roles of HR, Finance, Accounts and Administration at Priority.
She oversees the administrative, research and logistics support team and ensures the smooth operations of the office. Always ready to service with a smile, Joey is a beacon of light and source for everyone who needs guidance and help around the office.
Joey began her career in the accounts department of a legal firm in Kuala Lumpur, and has experience in executive support.
Apart from work, Joey loves ‘karaoke’ and practicing advanced Yoga.
